Mistake #3: Sending Traffic to Your Homepage: Your homepage isn't designed to convert ad traffic. Create dedicated landing pages for your ads that match the search intent, provide relevant information, and have clear calls to action. This will dramatically improve your conversion rates.

Mistake #4: Not Tracking Conversions: If you're not tracking conversions, you have no way to know which keywords, ads, or campaigns are actually driving results. Set up conversion tracking for all important actions—form submissions, phone calls, purchases—and use this data to optimize your campaigns.

Mistake #5: Set It and Forget It: Google Ads requires ongoing management and optimization. Regularly review your search term reports, adjust bids, test new ad copy, and pause underperforming keywords. The businesses that see the best results are those that actively manage their campaigns.
